Palomares

 

Palomares is a parish of Cuevas del  Almanzora, a beautiful coastal village located in the east coast of Almería. It has a wonderful beach of fine grey sand (Quitapellejos, blue flag awarded). There you can enjoy an excellent weather for most of the year and a delicious cuisine. You can also practice all kinds of water sports in a quiet and friendly environment.

The main economic drivers for Palomares are agriculture – there are a lot of leading companies which provide employment in the area - and tourism – wide range of tourist apartments on offer.

Besides, the village has got all facilities, including restaurants, banks, chemist and supermarkets.

The visitors can do the shopping in or enjoy the street market at Calle Mayor every Wednesday.
